Let’s face it… We will all age. How we do it is up to us.
I believe the key to The Art of Aging is developing a plan:
1) What are my goals?
2) What are my hoped outcomes?
3) What steps do I need to take to get there?
Otherwise, you could just be “wishing” your life away.
This website will soon be comprised of three main sections, all designed with The Art of Aging in mind!
Long-Term Care Navigation
My Hoped Outcome: Serve as a valuable “Starting Point” for older adults and their families, encouraging everyone – even in the midst of a life-changing event – to take two steps back to gain proper perspective and carefully assess the situation before proceeding.
Once you have shared your story (I am only as good as the information you give me), I will compile a comprehensive report, complete with suggestions on “next steps…” which can save you precious time, energy, and resources.
The Art of Aging, Inc. is planning to launch a podcast in May of this year!
The bi-monthly, 20-minute programs will focus on issues that span a lifetime, as it’s never too early to start thinking about how you want to spend your golden years.
Also coming in May, blogs from area professionals working day to day in the industry; providing practical, useful advice to folks seeking information.
And, finally, a speaker’s bureau. Whether you or your organization is interested in one topic or several, I can assist you in finding just the right fit.
Milestones in Music
It’s no secret that music is a fundamental part of everyone’s lives, regardless of age. And, did you know that it can actually provide magical and meaningful moments for individuals with dementia.
That’s why my daughter, Taylor, and I are coming together to share Milestones in Music with the community. You can find her at the microphone and me behind the piano at weddings, corporate / special events, and in senior living communities. We love sharing our love of music with others!
